Buttinthole and Fat Minister receive the Jimmy Gems from Lord Rizzleborn who has just kind of been hanging onto it (there's only one even though "gems" is plural) for Buttinthole because he's a nice guy like that. It gives them both the ability to fly.

Later, as a result of some interference by Professorman Johnson, the Jimmy Gems are removed from Buttinthole's grasp and sent flying off into space. Cuz manages to grab the Jorwallis Pendant but Steven! drops the ball and lets the Jimmy Gems go flying off into space. Whoops!
